A product is considered hazardous if it is corrosive; ignitable; toxic; poisonous; infectious; or if it will react or explode when mixed with other substances.
A product is considered electronic waste if it has circuitry, digital displays, or programmable features.
It is illegal to place hazardous or electronic waste in the trash.
